Questions I Still Have

Anyone have the answers? Or more questions?

Why did the Winchesters end up on a plane of all things in “Sympathy for the Devil?”

How did Bobby get possessed?

Why did he stab himself so severely? Would the demon not have died another way?

So if Bobby gave Sam the amulet to give to John, and ended up giving it to Dean, where did Bobby get it?

Why do all these small towns only have one way in and out?

When will we get the other three horsemen?

When is Jeffrey Dean Morgan coming back?

I'm asked the small town one-entry, one-exit question many times. I've been to lots of small towns, and there are several ways in and out. Some involve gravel or dirt roads, but they're roads. :)

Something else occurred to me the other night -- no matter how crappy the hotel Sam and Dean stay in, they always have Internet service, great for researching baddies online.

Oh, fun! :)

I think the "why" is clear--to get them away from Lucifer. But the "who" is the real question, and they aren't tellin'! :)

How did Bobby get possessed?

That one I wish they'd ASK, never mind answer. It's an annoying hole.

He was fighting the demon pretty hard, probably didn't have much luxury for aim.

So if Bobby gave Sam the amulet to give to John, and ended up giving it to Dean, where did Bobby get it?

I'm not sure we'll ever know that one. Bobby said he gave Bella a good deal on an amulet in Flagstaff, and he makes curse boxes and stuff, so he's more deeply involved than just being a hunter. My current impression is that he thought it was a trinket, maybe one that had claim to protective powers or something like that, but not proven.

Why do all these small towns only have one way in and out?

Because it's convenient. LOL I think it's only two, though, isn't it? Maybe three. I allow my suspension of disbelief because I've never really been in the Big Open Spaces of west-central America, but I have lived in DC. Traffic is so freakin' bad there because there are only a few bridges leading from DC to VA, and millions of people drive those routes every day. Extrapolate to a rural area with nothing around but one town in one direction, and it kinda makes sense that there might only be one main road. I always assume that's what they mean--one way to get the CAR in and out, because walking over land is always possible. :)

When will we get the other three horsemen?

Dunno! I hope we do, and they weren't just teasing! War was an easy one to adapt to an episode. Death almost seems redundant, since they had the reaper episode last season and they've all died. Famine and Pestilence seem almost too tame--how do Sam and Dean deal with starving people and bugs? And didn't we kind of already see that in "The Magnificent Seven"?

When is Jeffrey Dean Morgan coming back?

Srsly! I wants him! Probably not until the end of the season, though. :(

LOL, Trish, with your spotty hotel internet history, I bet that's your first question ;)

Natalie, good point about Bobby fighting the demon. But why a PLANE when they could have gone anywhere?

Okay, why a plane, I have no idea. Except it was almost directly over the site so it was nearby, maybe Lucifer couldn't have gotten to Sam on it without damaging the plane and therefore also damaging his perfect host, or maybe it would be harder to track them being put on a fast-moving vehicle?

Oh, and I meant to say, I THINK I've seen Sam using or heard him mention a broadband card, which would give him Internet access anywhere there was a phone signal. Otherwise, that one is one of those "just go with it" things, like affording gas for the Impala, even with credit card fraud. :)
