Supernatural Wish List

So Supernatural has officially been renewed! What's on your wishlist for the new season? Several times in SPN, the show seems to be about one thing but moves in another direction, which is good and unexpected, but how about something familiar? What about a Bermuda Triangle episode? Or Atlantis?

What about a musical episode? That could be hilarious. Or a several episode romantic arc for Sam.

Can we have more about the heavenly weapons, the objects from the Bible? I was really hoping we'd have more of that this season. I'm done with alternate universes and time travel, though. How about you?

I don't think I really have a wish list, I'm just thrilled the show got renewed. Hmmm...on 2nd thought I still hold out hope that JDM will return at same time.

I agree with both of you. LOL

MJ, all of what you named sounds cool. Terri, I'd love JDM back in some way, too. I don't care if they don't do any more time travel or AU, though I can't say I'd be sorry to see more of either, especially if they were like the last two.

But the one thing I really, REALLY want is a body swap between Sam and Dean. I liked "Swap Meat," but I want to see them being each other. I don't know if they'll do it, though, since they did the other.

More Castiel. More shirtless moments. More Castiel shirtless moments.

I'd love to see a body swap between Dean and Cas. Jensen and Misha could totally pull that off and would probably have a blast doing it.

Oooh, yes, Pat. :)

The other problem with "Swap Meat" is that the effects of the swaps weren't shown at all. The actors were just themselves (not the other characters in their bodies), and all the other actors actually looked at THEM instead of where they'd be looking if they were seeing Sam instead of the teenager.

So they totally need a do-over.

One other thing about "Swap Meat." When Dean finally checked his phone messages I'm sure that was Sam's voice coming out of the phone. Shouldn't it have been the teenage kid's, since that's whose body Sam was in at the time?

You're right, Pat, but I think they were trying to keep the inside persona on the outside. In other words, most of the time, we saw and heard Sam, even though he was in what's-his-face. We heard Sam make those calls in his own voice, so they kept the continuity with the voice mails. But maybe, too, the kid couldn't match the recordings as well as he matched the motions in the mirror, you know what I mean? :)
