THIS JUST IN

This just in: Supernatural has been renewed for a sixth season!  Woo hooo!

*runs off to tell everyone*

ETA:
Well, damn, I was afraid of this. To sum up without all the drama: Eric Kripke is handing over showrunning duties to Sera Gamble, but he and Robert Singer will remain hands-on executive producers.

I don't know, that doesn't seem like much of a change to me. :)

I'm excited for Season Six! And not worried at all if Sera is taking over as showrunner. She's been there from the beginning, she knows the characters and the SPN universe inside out, and she won't turn it into some chick-flick drama. Looking forward to it!

That's exactly how I feel!

PLUS, I read a quote by Sera that they've been working on the season 6 storyline for a while now, which means Kripke is heavily involved in it. So we probably don't have to worry until season 7. LOL

I'm excited and definitely trust Sera. But I'm glad that Kripke will still be involved though. :)
